The base salary range for this position is $96,400 to $120,500, dependent upon experience and location.

Responsibilities
- Apply detailed SAP Industry Solutions – Utility (IS-U) / CCS Systems integration knowledge to design, configure, and test production resolutions and project enhancements within SAP Customer Care and Services Systems.
- Collaborate with business organizations, vendors, and IT leads, including: Customer Service, GIS & Business Warehouse, Electric & Gas Operations, Web/Portal Applications, Compliancy & Security, Networking, Infrastructure DBA, and Production Control.
- Lead technical projects in areas such as: Billing and Invoicing, Front Office, Financial and Contract Accounting (FICA), Retail Access, and Device Management. Projects may include functionality enhancements in:
- Customer Relationship & Billing Systems (e.g., Smart Care)
- Advanced Meter Infrastructure Systems
- Siemens/OMS Systems
- Customer Rate Cases
- ESCO
- Regulatory Orders
- Accelerated Web enhancements
- IVR Upgrades
- Utilize extensive business and technical expertise across CT/MA to prioritize, analyze, determine innovative solutions, test, and deploy AVANGRID Networks application resolutions. Explain complex concepts and risks simply and accurately to non-technical end-users.
- Provide direct technical leadership and guidance to key business areas such as: Back Office Billing, Back Office Revenue Recovery, Supplier Relations, Call Centers, and Meter Services. Support decision-making, process improvement initiatives, and efficient business operations.
- Design and develop accurate data analyses regarding production issues, project details, regulatory proceedings, and internal/external audits in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure timely meter data, billing/invoicing accuracy, revenue collections, improved customer satisfaction, adherence to regulatory impacts/deadlines, and review of public service commission orders.
- Lead the team in developing, maintaining, and updating standard documentation, including business requirements, technical designs, test plans, project timelines, test cases, test results, business process procedures, reference, and training materials.
- Ensure effective change control, quality assurance procedures, and corrective actions are incorporated within department operations.
Requirements
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field with a minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant experience (preferred).
- Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field with a minimum of 8 to 10 years of relevant experience (required).
- High School/GED with a minimum of 10 to 15 years of advanced experience in this specific field.
Requires demonstrated experience with SAP IS-U/CCS (Customer Care and Services) Utility System Architecture, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) knowledge, and collaborating leadership skills with technical applications and business processes.
Skills/Abilities
- Strong knowledge of SAP, including functional areas such as: Billing and Invoicing, Front Office, Financial and Contract Accounting (FICA), Retail Access, and Device Management.
- Technical experience in areas such as: SAP Business Warehouse (BW) data pulling, using Structured Query Language (SQL), and developing Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
