About the role

TeamHealth is seeking an experienced, passionate Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Clinician to lead the 14-bed emergency department at Parkview Logansport Memorial Hospital. The hospital sees approximately 20,000 patients annually, offering individualized patient care 24 hours a day from physicians and 12 hours from advanced practice clinicians.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care to patients in the emergency department
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and quality care
• Conduct initial assessments and develop treatment plans
• Document patient encounters and treatments accurately and timely
• Participate in ongoing education and professional development opportunities

Requirements

• Current emergency medicine experience
• Advanced Practice Certification (APRN, PA-C)
• License to practice in Indiana
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing or related field
• Current licensure as an Advanced Practice Provider in Indiana
• Experience in emergency medicine
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge

Schedule
