Lead Advanced Practice Clinician (Metrowest MA)

About the role

PPLM is the state’s leading provider of sexual and reproductive health care, nationally recognized for education and research. The Lead Advanced Practice Clinician will provide high-quality SRH services, oversee clinic operations, mentor APCs, and deliver life-changing healthcare in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in family planning and abortion services in Metrowest Massachusetts
• Serve as clinical resource for APCs and PCAs
• Ensure compliance with PPLM's Follow-Up Manual for abnormal results and referrals
• Collaborate with Health Center Managers to adjust staffing as needed
• Provide clinical performance observations and feedback to APCs
• Mentor, coach, and guide APCs and Float APCs
• Analyze clinical and operational reports to improve service delivery
• Attend all clinician and site management meetings
• Provide clinical coverage outside of regular hours as needed

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree and current Massachusetts licensure as NP, CNM, or PA
• CPR certified
• 3 years of management experience preferred
• Proficiency in Spanish, Haitian Creole, or Brazilian Portuguese is highly preferred
• A strong commitment to providing the full range of SRH care
• Strong interpersonal skills; commitment to health equity and ability to work with diverse populations
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite; ability to stay active throughout shifts
