Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, standard/fixed schedule. Travel may be required.

Stephenson Cancer Center is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Lead Administrative Support Specialist to provide advanced administrative leadership and operational support to SCC’s Community Outreach & Engagement (COE) leadership. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and takes pride in keeping complex operations running smoothly.

As a trusted partner to SCC’s Community Outreach & Engagement leadership, you will handle sophisticated administrative responsibilities, support critical initiatives, and serve as a resource and leader for other support staff—all while contributing directly to the success of Oklahoma’s only NCI-Designated Cancer Center.

Responsibilities

  • Executive & Administrative Support: Provide high-level administrative support to COE leadership, including managing calendars, coordinating meetings, and handling confidential information.
  • Communication & Customer Service: Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring professional and timely communication.
  • Document Preparation & Reporting: Prepare, edit, and distribute reports, presentations, and correspondence with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Office Operations & Improvement: Streamline office processes, manage supplies, and implement improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Support critical initiatives, assist with event planning, and lead or mentor other administrative staff as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 12 months of office, clerical, or administrative experience.

Hiring contingent upon a background check.
