Job Summary

Purdue IT / Remote Purdue University is seeking a Lead ADA Accessibility Process Manager to help advance institutional accessibility initiatives across technology systems, business processes, and governance practices. This role serves as a key partner in supporting compliance with federal accessibility requirements under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Title II and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act by translating accessibility obligations into practical, scalable, and sustainable operational processes. This position does not perform legal determinations or adjudication functions.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the analysis, design, implementation, and continuous improvement of accessibility-related processes and operational frameworks
  • Partner with university stakeholders to integrate accessibility requirements into technology, procurement, and business practices
  • Manage complex projects and initiatives that support institutional accessibility objectives
  • Evaluate existing systems and workflows, identifying opportunities for improvement and long-term sustainability
  • Develop and maintain governance processes, documentation, standards, and operational procedures related to accessibility compliance efforts
  • Influence and guide operational decision-making related to accessibility policies, practices, and procedures
  • Facilitate collaboration among diverse stakeholder groups to achieve shared outcomes
  • Analyze complex issues, evaluate risks, and recommend practical solutions that balance compliance, usability, and operational efficiency
  • Mentor and provide guidance to colleagues and project teams, helping build organizational accessibility knowledge and capability
  • Monitor emerging accessibility requirements, trends, and best practices to support continuous improvement efforts
