Primary Duties
- Primary point of contact for the A/P team to work with to resolve issues that require your assistance and expertise.
- Analyze major accounts and prepare monthly reconciliation of subsidiary accounts to general ledger.
- Develop and implement record keeping systems, forms, policies, and procedures related to A/P.
- Identify and resolve problems and inconsistencies and suggests appropriate corrective procedures; elevate issues as necessary.
- Oversee compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and company procedures.
- Monitor performance indicators, highlight trends and analyze cause of unexpected variance. Design and run Quarterly and Monthly financial reports.
- Direct, train, and assign work of Accounts Payable staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance, or related work experience.
- 4-7 years’ experience in A/P processing.
Skills
- Organized and able to be a lead in the team, while managing deadlines.
- Effective problem solving; methodical, detail-oriented and analytical approach to issue resolution.
- Strong attention to details with analytical, organizational and research abilities.
- Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Preferred Skills
- ERP systems experience, Microsoft Business Central a plus.
- Be comfortable using computers and software including, but not limited to, accounting and management information systems, spreadsheets and databases.
- Experience in evaluating and streamlining processes and systems, developing and implementing policies and procedures to achieve operational efficiencies.
- Able to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication and messaging skills.
Pay
Base Pay: $24.60 - $30.75 USD per hour
Short-Term Incentive Bonus Plan
Target Annual Short-Term Incentive Bonus Plan at 5% (% of Annualized Base Pay)
