About the organization

Le Mouvement du Nid is a national, field-based association and social movement dedicated to combating violence against women. It supports individuals in prostitution and opposes the system that perpetuates it. Active in 26 departments and serving thousands of individuals, the association is primarily volunteer-driven and recognized as a public utility. The director will join the national headquarters team in Clichy, consisting of 8 salaried staff members, and work closely with the association’s board of directors.

About the role

Under the authority of the association’s bureau, the director is responsible for the management and leadership of Le Mouvement du Nid to meet the strategic objectives defined by the National Committee (Board of Directors).

Responsibilities

Ensure the implementation of decisions by mobilizing the national secretariat and board members.
  • Project development (initiated or validated by the Board): In collaboration with the national secretariat team, manage projects by drafting project sheets (context, issues, objectives, action plan, budget), planning, financing, mobilizing stakeholders, evaluation, and reporting.

  • Financial and administrative management of national actions: Develop budgets and funding strategies in collaboration with the Board. Implement funding initiatives (drafting and submitting grant applications, responding to calls for tenders and projects, soliciting private funding). Ensure deadlines for submissions, evaluations, and reporting are met.
  • Team leadership of the national secretariat: Supervise the salaried team of the national secretariat: accountant, network and associative life coordinator, communications officer, project manager, specialized educator, HR manager, and executive assistant. Oversee team dynamics, individual follow-up, training policy, and prioritization of team actions.
  • Public and institutional representation: Support and complement the actions of board members in public, media, political, and institutional representation. Contribute to the development and consolidation of the association’s network of partners (associative, institutional, private, political).
