Lawncare/Groundskeeper - Clinton Engineering

Job Summary

A member of the McCarthy-Bush family of companies, Clinton Engineering (CEC) is a full-service general contractor seeking a Seasonal Lawncare/Groundskeeper at the LyondellBasell Facility in Clinton, Iowa.

Responsibilities

• Mowing lawns
• Trimming edges
• Ensuring clean-up of debris
• Adhering to lawn maintenance standards at a large, industrial facility

Requirements

• Previous experience in lawn care or landscaping preferred
• Familiarity with operating lawn mowing equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and edgers
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Physical stamina and ability to lift maintenance equipment and work outdoors for extended periods
• Strong work ethic and reliability in meeting scheduled work hours and deadlines

Qualifications

• High school diploma
• Valid driver’s license
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check

Pay and Schedule

• Pay range starts at $20 depending on previous lawn experience
• Monday to Thursday, 6:30am to 2:00pm each day
• Potential for Friday work during busy season dependent on project demands and schedules
• Position continues into October with the possibility of extending into winter months depending on weather
