Groundskeeper / Yard Maintenance Technician

About the Role

Apex Stone seeks a self-motivated Groundskeeper / Yard Maintenance Technician to maintain our premier outdoor stone display and inventory yard. This is a full-time, year-round position for an individual with a strong work ethic and an eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Growing Season: Focus on landscape and grounds maintenance, including:
  • Mowing, weeding, and pruning
  • Monitoring plant health
  • Managing and repairing irrigation systems
  • Power washing stone displays, walkways, and buildings
• Winter/Off-Season: Transition to support yard operations, including:
  • Safely operating a forklift to load, unload, and organize heavy stone materials
  • Assisting with inventory management
  • Performing general maintenance tasks

Requirements

• Proven experience in professional landscaping or groundskeeping
• Forklift operation experience is required
• Knowledge of horticulture, irrigation systems, and landscaping equipment (mowers, pressure washers, etc.)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks outdoors in all weather and frequently lift up to 75 lbs
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
