Law Student Recruiting Coordinator
About the Role
The Law Student Recruiting Coordinator supports all aspects of the firm's law student recruiting processes and summer associate programs across six offices, ensuring a seamless and efficient candidate experience. This position reports to the Law Student Recruiting Manager and works closely with office hiring committees, office administrators, attorneys, and other business professionals throughout the firm.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate logistics for direct applications and resume collections; job fairs, receptions, and other recruiting events; and screening and callback interviews.
- Maintain recruiting data and candidate records within recruiting and HR applications, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all recruiting information.
- Schedule and coordinate screening and callback interviews with candidates, attorneys, hiring committee members, and recruiting team members, while managing complex calendars and competing priorities.
- Assist in planning and executing the firm's summer associate program, including onboarding, training, work assignments, evaluations, social events, and program communications. Attend summer associate events as necessary to ensure events are successful and the recruiting team is represented.
- Prepare recruiting reports, hiring committee materials, candidate evaluation summaries, offer documentation, expense tracking, and recruiting metrics as requested by the Law Student Recruiting Manager.
- Serve as a point of contact for law students, candidates, law school career services professionals, and firm personnel, delivering responsive and professional customer service.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of recruiting, human resources, or professional services administration; experience in a law firm or a law school career services office is preferred but not required.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, maintain exceptional attention to detail, and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and effectively with attorneys, law students, senior leadership, vendors, and colleagues.
- Excellent organization, project management, and event coordination skills; experience managing complex interview schedules and recruiting events is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams; experience with viRecruit, Flo Recruit, Workday, or similar applicant tracking systems preferred but not required.
- Strong judgment, discretion, and commitment to confidentiality, along with a collaborative approach and a commitment to delivering outstanding client service.
Schedule
This is a hybrid, non-exempt position eligible for overtime compensation. Regular office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The ability to work longer hours is essential during peak workload periods.
Pay
The pay range for this position is $56,000 - $98,000. Base compensation may vary based on skills and overall experience. This salary range is based on market location.
