Law & Motion Attorney - Remote with California Bar

Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of law and motion practice for complex civil litigation matters.
- Draft and argue dispositive motions, including Motions for Summary Judgment/Summary Adjudication, Demurrers, Motions to Strike, and Post-trial motions.
- Develop case strategy in collaboration with trial partners and litigation teams.
- Conduct sophisticated legal research involving complex procedural and substantive legal issues.
- Prepare appellate-quality briefs and persuasive legal memoranda.
- Review and edit briefs prepared by associates and senior attorneys.
- Assist with appellate strategy and preservation of legal issues for appeal.
Qualifications
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Active member in good standing of the California State Bar.
- 10+ years of California civil litigation experience.
- Much significant experience handling complex law and motion practice.
- Demonstrated success arguing dispositive motions in California state and federal courts.
- Exceptional legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
- PREFERRED: Experience in complex business litigation, professional liability, and/or catastrophic injury or insurance defense.

Salary: $190,000 - $235,000 per year
