Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Support the review, analysis, development, implementation, and sustainment of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) Multiple Threat Alert Center (MTAC) mission supporting Department of War (DoW) security operations.
- Monitor and manage known or suspected terrorist encounter information using the Identity Matching Engine for Security and Analysis (IMESA).
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies, military criminal investigative organizations, the War Manpower Data Center (DMDC), and the Terrorist Screening Center (TSC) regarding terrorist screening database alerts and related activities.
- Research, analyze, and assess information from law enforcement and intelligence databases to support DoW security programs.
- Prepare written reports, briefings, and recurring status updates for MTAC leadership.
- Conduct briefings for senior Department of War and other federal agency leadership on IMESA processes and operational updates.
- Attend meetings with government stakeholders and prepare meeting summaries, action items, and follow-up documentation.
- Support physical security, personnel security, and insider threat initiatives through analytical and operational activities.
- Provide surge support in a 24/7 watch center environment when mission requirements dictate.
Required Qualifications
- Active Top Secret clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI).
- Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, homeland security, intelligence studies, law enforcement, criminology, or similar.
- Will accept an associate degree with at least five years of relevant professional experience supporting law enforcement, counterintelligence, security, or intelligence operations.
- Experience supporting law enforcement, counterintelligence, security, or intelligence programs within the Department of War, Intelligence Community, military services, or other federal agencies.
- Experience utilizing law enforcement or Intelligence Community databases, such as terrorist screening databases, to evaluate derogatory or threat-related information.
- Experience preparing written analytical products, reports, or executive briefings.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint to develop reports, presentations, and data products.
- Availability to support rotating shifts within a 24/7 watch center during surge operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting the Office of the Secretary of War, Joint Staff, Office of the Director of National Intelligence, or Military Departments.
- Knowledge of Department of War physical security, personnel security, insider threat, or counterintelligence policies and processes.
- Experience delivering briefings to senior executive or government leadership.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both written and verbal formats.
- Experience working collaboratively across multiple organizations and government agencies.
Pay
Full Time Salary Range for this position: $82,700 - $120,000 USD
