Law Enforcement Detail

Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources is seeking a Security Guard to provide services at our Crisis Residential Center in Gulfport. This role ensures safety operations for the facility by following policies and procedures focused on safety, efficiency, and customer service. The Security Guard plays a key role in protecting the property, staff, and individuals served at this residential treatment facility.

Schedule

Full-time, day shift.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
• Completion of the Law Enforcement Officers Training Academy
• Two years of experience related to the job duties
• CIT (Crisis Intervention Team) training preferred

Responsibilities

• Accurately monitors activities of individuals to provide feedback to clinical staff
• Investigates reports of disturbances or suspicious circumstances
• Uses Mandt training techniques only when situations warrant
• Conducts initial safety inspections of individuals and their property upon admission
• Contacts local law enforcement if circumstances warrant
• Participates in education/training activities and staff meetings
