About the role
The Law Clerk provides legal research support, drafts pleadings and motions, prepares deposition summaries, and assists attorneys with trial preparation, all while working a flexible part-time schedule that aligns with academic commitments. This role offers a clear growth path, with the potential to transition into a full-time clerkship after the bar exam and advance to an associate position upon passing the bar.
Responsibilities
- Perform legal research utilizing electronic sources
- Assist attorneys in drafting of briefs and motions
- Prepare research memoranda, draft pleadings, discovery, and motions
- Help attorneys prepare for depositions and trials
- Analyze deposition transcripts and prepare summaries
Requirements
- Must be enrolled in Law School
- Ideal candidate is a 3L student
