About the role

Responsibilities
- Perform extensive research using Westlaw/Lexis, and draft legal documents including motions, orders, and memoranda.
- Assist attorneys with trial preparation, hearings, and witness interviews.
- Review complaints, petitions, and pleadings, and monitor changes in federal law and court precedent.
- Manage case files, handle exhibit preparation, and maintain legal libraries.
- Act as a liaison between chambers/offices and attorneys.
Requirements
- Completed law degree from an ABA-accredited school within the previous year.
- Class rank within top 1/3 of law school class or GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Strong analytical skills and often a JD degree or current enrollment in law school.
Qualifications
- Specialized/legal experience.
- Top 1/3 law school class rank or GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Bar membership not required.
- Must be registered for Selective Service.
