Laundry Supervisor

Essential Functions

• Oversight of daily operations in the laundry department.
• Effective scheduling of laundry personnel within budget parameters.
• Maintain a good working relationship with all colleagues and understand their linen needs.
• Maintain high quality control and productivity levels by reviewing job performance and providing re-training as necessary.
• Implement a re-wash program for stained linen.
• Collaborate with laundry purveyors to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness of laundry products.
• Monitor and maintain poundage reports.
• Assist with performance reviews and monitor equipment safety and sanitization standards.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of laundry operations in a hotel or resort environment.
• One year housekeeping or laundry experience preferred.
• Exemplary leadership skills and a willingness to serve others.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift.
