Laundry Attendant - Healthcare

Responsibilities

• Collect, support and distribute laundry throughout the facility.
• Audit laundry when returned from the laundry distribution center.
• Ensure laundry is ready for pickup from the laundry processing center.
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
• Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate supervisor.
• Be polite and helpful to residents, responding to their requests and inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Comply with the Residents' Rights and Community Policies and Procedures.
• Collaborate with other staff to ensure efficient and thorough cleaning of all areas assigned.
• Maintain a professional relationship with co-workers & other staff.

Required Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and irregular hours as needed.
• Ability to get to and from work reliably when scheduled.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a laundry attendant role or a similar role is preferred.

Schedule

M-F 6:00am-2:00pm, E/O Weekend
