What You'll Do

• Collect resident laundry daily and as needed
• Sort, treat, wash, dry, fold, and organize clothing and linens
• Label new resident clothing items as needed
• Deliver clean laundry promptly to resident rooms
• Inspect linens and clothing for stains, tears, and damage
• Remove worn or damaged linens from service
• Maintain inventory of laundry supplies
• Follow all infection control, sanitation, and safety procedures
• Operate washers, dryers, and laundry equipment safely and efficiently
• Report equipment issues and maintenance needs promptly
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient laundry area

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Previous Laundry, Housekeeping, Hospitality, Or Healthcare Experience Preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Dependable attendance and positive attitude
• Commitment to providing excellent service to residents and coworkers

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and carrying
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
• Ability to safely operate laundry equipment
