Laundry Aide

About the Role

Responsibilities

• Collects, cleans, and redistributes Westerwood laundry according to state and federal regulations.
• Ensures that all Rehabilitation Center laundry is properly sorted, washed, and dried according to state and federal regulations.
• Ensures that the laundry is maintained in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition.
• Maintains all equipment and supplies in proper condition.

Working Conditions

• Moderate to heavy physical effort 80% of the time.
• Work is performed in a well-lighted, confined area.
• Exposure to uncomfortable heat, odors, and laundry chemicals (protective equipment is provided).
• Handles laundry weighing 50–125 pounds when loading and unloading machines.
• Pushes, pulls, handles, and operates a computerized washer.

Schedule

Full-time, 7:00 AM–3:15 PM.
