Laundry Aide

At The Village at Orchard Ridge, we seek a Full-Time Laundry Aide who takes pride in creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for residents. Your work directly contributes to the comfort, dignity, and well-being of those we serve.

Responsibilities

• Collecting, sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing resident laundry and community linens
• Following established infection control and safety procedures
• Inspecting linens and clothing for damage, stains, and repair needs
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the laundry department
• Operating laundry equipment safely and efficiently
• Ensuring resident clothing is handled with care and returned accurately
• Monitoring laundry supplies and reporting inventory needs
• Supporting a positive, resident-centered environment through courteous and professional interactions

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous laundry, housekeeping, hospitality, or healthcare experience preferred
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull laundry carts and supplies
• Dependable work ethic and commitment to quality service
• Positive attitude and dedication to serving older adults

Pay

Hourly Pay: $15.00 - $17.50 per hour (final offer is based on demonstrated skills, relevant experience, and professional background)
