Laundry Aide

Fairview Nursing Care Center, a leading provider of exceptional healthcare services in Queens, New York, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Aide to join our team. As a Laundry Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness, comfort, and well-being of our patients by managing the laundry needs of our facility.

Responsibilities

• Wash, dry, fold, and sort laundry to maintain a clean and comfortable environment for our patients
• Operate washing machines and dryers properly to ensure efficient and safe laundry processing
• Handle laundry items with care, paying attention to detail and ensuring that all items are cleaned and processed according to our standards
• Perform other related duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to support our team
• Maintain a tidy and organized laundry area, adhering to strict standards of hygiene and safety
• Assist with labeling and inventory management of laundry supplies and equipment, ensuring that our resources are used efficiently and effectively
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow

Requirements

• 0 years of experience preferred, but not necessary
• Ability to lift, push, and pull laundry equipment and supplies (up to 50 pounds)
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

Pay

$17 per hour

Schedule

Full-time, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM shift
