Large Loss Reconstruction Estimator

Qualifications

• Develop estimates including creation of detailed and accurate diagrams in Xactimate along with detailed line items in Xactimate to submit for insurance and client review
• Show deep understanding of construction and estimating, especially in large fire loss scenarios
• Able to meet deadlines while maintaining accurate estimates
• Work with insurance adjusters and third-party administrators
• Able to identify and accurately scope and estimate unique site-specific conditions and requirements
• Understand processes and reasons for supplements or change orders and be able to communicate effectively with all parties for timely submissions
• Understand the permit process/inspections and building plan codes
• Follow the established job management procedures while bringing your knowledge and experience to help improve that process
• Ensure documentation, pictures and other critical records are complete and meet audit standards

Requirements

• Valid Drivers’ License with satisfactory driving history
• 10+ years of construction and/or restoration experience
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office and similar programs required
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Lifting, squatting, crawling and crouching is required
• Strong business development networks within various restoration organizations and sales experience
