Large Loss Property Adjuster - Field Estimating Tulsa, OK
About the role
As a Large Loss Field Property Adjuster, you will provide exceptional service to our policyholders by traveling to customers' homes to conduct on-site inspections, investigate coverage, prepare estimates, and settle claims promptly and efficiently. You will also handle virtual claims countrywide using platforms like Xactimate and ClaimsX Video Collaboration, with a focus on water losses to ensure customers receive the highest level of support and resolution.
Responsibilities

- Investigate property claims independently by reviewing damage and interpreting policies to determine coverage.
- Communicate with customers via phone, email, or video chat to guide them through a fast, fair, and easy claims process, offering their preferred communication method.
- Evaluate and negotiate claims settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants in accordance with legal and business standards, including handling complex situations.
- Utilize tools like estimate software, job aids, and settlement platforms while applying critical thinking to solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
- Protect the company financially by adhering to policy agreements and maintaining clear, timely, and accurate documentation in claims systems.
Requirements
- 4 years’ experience as an outside adjuster is highly desired.
- Experience handling claims with multiple trades and losses over $100,000.
- Proficiency in Xactimate and other relevant estimating software.
- Strong critical thinking and technical skills to assess damages and expedite settlements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for exceptional customer service.
- Ability to travel to customers' homes and handle virtual claims countrywide.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
- Residency within the posted location (Tulsa, OK) is mandatory.
- Must be able to carry a 50-pound ladder and access roofs with up to a 6/12 pitch.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.
- If currently holding an active insurance license, must terminate all existing appointments prior to onboarding and not hold any outside appointments during employment.
- Applicants with a resident producer license must formally surrender it when instructed by the licensing team.
Training
You will receive comprehensive training to build a claims foundation and understand day-to-day systems and processes. Ongoing training opportunities for continuous improvement are provided. You will attend approximately 2 weeks of training in Dallas, TX. Additionally, your office/area may require you to obtain an adjuster and/or appraiser license, including passing a background check, within 60 days of hire.

Pay
Compensation for this role ranges from $72,000 to $115,245 annually, based on experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity.
Sign-On Bonus
Eligible for a $1,000 Licensing Sign-On Bonus if you hold applicable active licenses (e.g., Home Resident Property & Casualty License, Designated Home State (DHS) Florida or Texas License, and/or applicable Appraiser License). Current or former Allstate employees are not eligible.
Company Car
This role may qualify for a company car based on annual work mileage. You may be required to use your personal vehicle until guidelines are met, with mileage reimbursement provided for work-related use.
