About the role

A full-time position comprising approximately 20 hours of teaching and 20 hours of lesson development, student assessment, and testing. Some travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Teach language classes
• Develop lesson plans and assessments
• Assess students' progress
• Conduct tests

Requirements

• US citizenship and ability to obtain US Top-Secret Clearance with a Polygraph
• Speaking, reading, and listening skills at level 5 or above on the ILR scale
• English exam score of 80% or above
• Bachelor's degree
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to type no less than 45 words per minute in both English and the target language

Desired

• 5 years' experience teaching adults within the last 5 years
• Degree in higher education or target language
• Cultural/current events knowledge in target country
