About the Role

We’re looking for reliable people to join our landscaping laborer team. You don’t need any experience—we’ll teach you everything you need to know, like how to mow lawns, trim bushes, and spread mulch. Just bring a good attitude and be ready to learn.

What You Need To Be Successful

• No landscaping experience required — we provide full training.
• Must be willing to learn how to safely use landscaping tools and equipment.
• Able to follow instructions and work safely around equipment and outdoor environments.
• Able to work as part of a team and communicate respectfully with coworkers and supervisors.
• Dependable, punctual, and a strong work ethic.
• Able to complete tasks such as debris removal, edging, or cleanup.
• Valid RealID.
• Able to obtain and maintain government base access.

A Day in the Life of a Landscaping Crew Member

• Check in with your supervisor and team members.
• Review the day’s assignments and load up the truck with necessary tools and equipment.
• Arrive at your assigned location and start mowing large lawn areas, edging sidewalks and driveways, and trimming around trees, fences, and other hard-to-reach spots.
• Focus on landscaping tasks like weeding flowerbeds, pruning shrubs and small trees, laying mulch, or planting seasonal flowers.
• Blow off walkways, clear any debris, and make sure everything looks polished.
• Unload, clean up, and prep for the next day.

Physical & Environmental Demands

• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and crouch for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Requires the ability to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Involves repetitive motions such as raking, shoveling, trimming, and pushing landscaping equipment.
• Requires sufficient hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to handle tools and perform detailed tasks.
• Requires visual acuity to inspect work quality, identify hazards, and ensure safety compliance.
• Requires hearing and responding to verbal instructions, equipment sounds, and environmental cues.
• Involves navigating uneven terrain, slopes, and potentially slippery or muddy surfaces.
• May involve exposure to dust, pollen, fertilizers, and other landscaping materials or chemicals.
• May require wearing personal protective equipment such as gloves, safety glasses, ear protection, and boots.
