What You'll Do
- Perform duties necessary to maintain an attractive and safe environment throughout campus
- Assist with turf maintenance, as needed, including trimming on banks and natural areas
- Keep shrub and flower beds clean, weeded, edged, and mulched
- Remove fallen leaves
- Prune shrubs and trees with the guidance of the Landscape Crew Member
- Properly maintain power equipment and hand tools, with the supervision of the Mechanic
- Keep the campus clean and neat by picking up litter, fallen limbs, etc. and cleaning silt from curb
- Perform any other duties and/or tasks that may be assigned on an as-needed basis by an authorized supervisor
What You'll Need
- A High School GED equivalent is preferred
- Must have, as a minimum, six months experience in a grounds worker capacity
- Must possess a valid North Carolina Driver’s License
Pay
$20.00 - $21.50 per hour, based on background and experience, plus our comprehensive benefits package!
Schedule
The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm. There is also a possibility of a 4-day work week, working 10-hour days.
