Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Crew Member to join our team. In this role, you will assist in the maintenance, design, and enhancement of outdoor spaces, including residential, commercial, and public areas. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working outdoors, an eye for detail, and the ability to perform a variety of landscaping tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planting, weeding, mulching, and watering plants, shrubs, and trees.
• Operate and maintain landscaping machinery, including mowers, blowers, and trimmers.
• Auxiliary in the installation of landscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
• Perform general yard maintenance including debris removal and leaf blowing.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors to ensure project goals are met.
• Provide excellent customer service and address any client questions or concerns in a professional manner.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in landscaping or groundskeeping is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to operate landscaping tools and machinery safely.
• Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• A valid driver’s license is preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to work in outdoor conditions, including exposure to sun, rain, and varying temperatures.

Work Environment

• Outdoor work environment with exposure to various weather conditions.
• May involve working in dusty or noisy conditions.
• Potential for occasional overtime or weekend work.

Compensation

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
