About the role
This is a Landscape Architect, GS-0807-12 position with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Northwestern Division (NWD), Omaha District, Engineering Division.
Responsibilities
- Develops and implements landscape plans that enhance the aesthetic appeal and functionality of public spaces.
- Collaborates with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
- Supervises the construction and maintenance of landscaping projects to meet design specifications.
- Assists in the preparation of project documentation and reports.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program.
- At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in landscape architecture.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to landscape architecture.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications
- Valid professional registration as a Landscape Architect.
- Experience with project management software and tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software.
- Understanding of sustainable design principles.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Pay
- $85,000 - $105,000 annually.
