About the role

This is a Landscape Architect, GS-0807-12 position with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Northwestern Division (NWD), Omaha District, Engineering Division.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements landscape plans that enhance the aesthetic appeal and functionality of public spaces.
  • Collaborates with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
  • Supervises the construction and maintenance of landscaping projects to meet design specifications.
  • Assists in the preparation of project documentation and reports.

Requirements
  • Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program.
  • At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in landscape architecture.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to landscape architecture.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications

  • Valid professional registration as a Landscape Architect.
  • Experience with project management software and tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Skills

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software.
  • Understanding of sustainable design principles.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Pay

  • $85,000 - $105,000 annually.
