Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate in a supporting role with LA design lead/project manager on various project teams with several in-house disciplines
- Manage projects and project teams with several in-house disciplines, in addition to coordinating with various consultants
- Develop and express strong planning and design concepts
- Attend client meetings in-house and at client sites
- Produce creative and convincing presentations in multiple formats
- Translate design concepts into CAD-based technical drawings and specifications
Key Skills
- 5-10+ years of experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Experience in complex site grading, construction documentation, and construction administration
- Strong technical skills with site layout, planting, grading/surface drainage, and construction detailing
- Experience with AutoCAD/Civil3D and LandFX
- Multimedia 2D and 3D design and documentation skills using software such as Sketch Up, Rhino, Lumion, Adobe Suite, and Microsoft programs
- Highly motivated, good team player with the ability to juggle multiple tasks, collaborate with large multi-disciplinary teams, and work well under deadlines
- Ability to work independently with proficient organizational and time management skills
Licensure and Education
- Licensure in the state of CT preferred
- Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in Landscape Architecture required
