Landscape Architect and Project Manager
About the role
We seek a licensed Landscape Architect with project management experience to join our Lake Tahoe studio team. Design Workshop Inc. is an internationally recognized firm focused on landscape architecture, urban design, community and regional planning, market analysis and strategic services.
Responsibilities
- Serve in a firm-wide leadership capacity pursuing and implementing legacy work through exceptional design, project documentation, planning, business development, and/or project management.
- Provide landscape architecture, planning and project management services to a wide variety of private and public clients.
- Perform project manager or lead designer/planner role on projects of various scales.
- Support other project managers or designer/planners on large, complex projects.
Requirements
- Four years (ideally 5-7 years) of demonstrated skill in site design, technical design documentation and construction observation experience; project management and business development;
- Successful management of projects from conceptual design through completion of construction documents;
- Prominent experience producing drawings and specifications from the schematic stage through construction observation.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate and/or graduate degree from an accredited landscape architecture program is required.
- Landscape Architecture Licensure is required.
- Candidates with a master’s degree or dual degrees in both landscape architecture and urban design, architecture or planning are strongly encouraged to apply.

- Passionate about engaging and retaining clients.

Pay
The Salary range for this role is $75,000 - $95,000 and a final offer to join the firm is based on our review and understanding of your demonstrated professional skills and experience.
