Primary Responsibilities
- Request underground utility markings
- Cookordination marking authorities' responses, including quality check of plans and onsite verification
- Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to add utility locations to scale on land surveys and plans
- Operate raSmith equipment to mark private utilities and field data collection locations with GPS
- Quality check surveys and plans for utility accuracies
- Provide occasional assistance on Survey field crews

Skills and Requirements
- A High School Diploma or equivalent; with a preference for an Associate's Degree in Civil Engineering Technology from a U.S. accredited college or university
- At least 1 year of experience in utility locating, surveying, or related fieldwork
- Proven ability to read and interpret construction drawings, engineering plans, and specifications
- Understanding of utility systems, including water, sewer, gas, electric, and telecommunications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with GIS, CAD, or other mapping/design tools is a plus
- Applicable U.S. based work experience
