The Staff Engineer will be a key player on dynamic projects at McClure, promoting the company's core values and vision.
Responsibilities
- Maintain solid knowledge of engineering principles and codes to ensure proper project completion.
- Assess client satisfaction and mentor less experienced team members.
- Partner with Project Manager or Team Leader to solve problems and manage design issues.
- Work actively with the team to ensure high client satisfaction.
- Implement the QA/QC process to ensure high-quality engineering solutions and plan sets.
- Challenge the team to develop innovative alternative solutions to meet client needs.
- Show strong understanding of the team's technical engineering expertise.
- Build trust, manage workload, and achieve team and corporate goals.
- Work autonomously and collaboratively as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Engineer in Training recognition required (or ability to obtain within 12 months of starting).
- 5 years of experience preferred.
Qualifications
Must possess the technical skills required to move projects from conception to completion and the interpersonal skills needed to assess client satisfaction and mentor less experienced team members.
