About the role
A Land Development Manager supervises all land development field activities, ensuring projects meet governmental standards and specifications. This role involves coordinating with internal and external teams on land development and homebuilding activities to achieve neighborhood-level goals. Responsibilities include maintaining project records, updating reports, managing active land development budgets, and fostering relationships with trade contractors. The position is primarily field-based but also requires office work for documentation and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Supervise land development field activities to ensure compliance with governmental standards and specifications.
- Coordinate with internal and external teams on land development and homebuilding activities to meet neighborhood goals.
- Ensure completion of land development improvements for bond reductions and release.
- Maintain project records and provide regular report updates.
- Manage active land development budgets.
- Build and maintain beneficial working relationships with trade contractors.
- Complete ad hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Experience managing land development projects with a record of field supervision.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Strong active listening, confidence, and respect in communication.
Qualifications
- A college degree is preferred but not required.
Skills
- Proficiency in DXC Homebuilder One (HB1).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.
- Organizational and multitasking skills.
- Results-driven with clear and effective communication.
