About the role
LGI Homes is seeking a Land Development Manager in the Orlando area to support multi-million-dollar development deals through the development of residential lots and land. This position involves soliciting, analyzing, and meeting with contractors for bids on all new development projects, preparing and submitting contracts for execution, and managing contractors through all stages of development to completion, including parks, monuments, amenities, and landscaping.
The role includes performing final walks with local jurisdictions for street, water/sewer acceptance, and bond release, as well as working with dry utility companies to ensure utilities are scheduled and monitored through completion. Some travel may be required as needed.
Requirements
- At least 5+ years of land development experience is highly preferred
- Valid driver’s license
