Land Development Manager

About the role

Join K. Hovnanian, a leader in home building and community development with 60 years of industry experience, and play a key role in building dream homes for families. You’ll oversee all phases of land development, ensuring projects are organized, budgeted, and monitored effectively. As a leader of the land development team, you’ll manage, motivate, and develop professionals, assign work and territories, prioritize tasks, and review work product.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a team of land development professionals, including assigning work and geographic territories.
• Prioritize and review work product to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Oversee the organization, budgeting, and monitoring of all phases of land development for residential projects.
• Lead the Request for Proposals (RFP) process, negotiate with vendors, award contracts, and execute agreements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, planning, construction management, or a related field (preferred).
• At least 5 years of land development experience in progressively responsible roles, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency in the RFP process, contract negotiation, and vendor management.
• Valid driver’s license.

Schedule
