About the role
Performs work related to the installation, security, and maintenance of DEMCO’s network, servers, and PCs including implementing, supporting, maintaining, monitoring, and tuning network services.
Essential Duties
- Plan, design, install, and maintain networks
- Configure routers, switches, and firewalls
- Troubleshoot network performance issues and maintain network security
- Install and maintain servers in a virtual environment; apply patches and updates
- Perform backups and disaster recovery
- Maintain Active Directory and Exchange user accounts
- Maintain logs, inventory, and tracking systems
- Train personnel and assist users with network and computer problems
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Five years of IP network experience and two years with a Windows network
- Certifications: CCNA, MCITP, MCTS, A+
