Schedule
- AM shift: 4:00 A.M. – 4:00 P.M.
- 3 days on, 4 days off (12-hour shifts, no swing shifts)
- Overtime after 36 hours
Pay
- $23.00 – $25.00 per hour, plus $1.00/hour shift differential for AM shift
- Rate determined by level of role, relevant experience, and shift differentials
What will I do in this role?
- Follow all safety procedures and nurture a food safety culture by adhering to Safe Quality Foods requirements
- Comply with and follow all standard operating procedures and work instructions
- Perform all job tasks utilizing required personal protective equipment and correct safety procedures
- Maintain quality, productivity and waste according to set standards
- Ensure product adhesive weight and appearance
- Maintain adhesives
- Ensure proper sleeve, tensions, machine alignment and settings on each job
- Web the laminator
- Clean the laminator
- Install sleeves and assist in installing rollers
- Install shafts in the turrets

Minimum Qualifications
- Education equivalent to two (2) years of high school
- Knowledge of and the ability to effectively utilize the English language
- Ability to read, comprehend and follow simple written and oral instructions
- Regular attendance is an essential function of the position
- May be required to work some overtime
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers, decimals and fractions
- Ability to give, receive and analyze information
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Requires nearly constant concentration and attention to detail
- Ability to: stand and walk for 90% of work time; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl for 10% of work time
- Ability to: see clearly at 20 inches or less; see clearly at 20 feet or more; identify and distinguish colors; observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point; judge distances and spatial relationships; and to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus
- Ability to: use hands for 100% of work time; reach above shoulders for 50% of work time; and use feet to operate machines for 30% of work time
- Ability to lift: 10 pounds or less 25% of work time; 25 pounds or less 30% of work time; 50 pounds or less 25% of work time; and may lift 100 pounds or less 5% of work time (example: lifting roll of material on and off the press approximately 6 ft.)
