About the Role

As an Engineering Financial Analyst at RTX, you will support Engineering Product Team Leads, Control Account Managers, and Program Leads in monthly Earned Value Management (EVM) processes, financial reporting, and analysis. This role focuses on driving cost control and schedule adherence using tools like APEX/SAP EV, IMS, and PMX. You will partner with engineering and program teams to ensure predictable financial and operational outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Support the creation of Estimates at Complete (EACs) quarterly and Latest Revised Estimates (LRE) monthly.
  • Perform detailed Earned Value and financial analysis against budget baselines, schedules, and EAC positions.
  • Prepare forecasts, monitor actual costs, and document variances to plans and forecasts.
  • Facilitate EVM process inputs, EAC/LRE development, monthly variance reporting, and weekly cost/labor analysis.
  • Drive predictable cost and schedule outcomes through meaningful analysis and effective communication.

Requirements

  • A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
  • Experience using SAP, APEX, or similar business systems.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.

  • Strong communication skills and flexibility in job responsibilities.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $68,900 – $131,100 USD. The final offer considers factors such as role, function, responsibilities, work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Schedule

This is a hybrid role. Employees will work both onsite and offsite, with the ratio of onsite time determined in partnership with your leader.
