Responsibilities
- A clinically competent, registered, professional nurse who participates and assists in evaluating and improving nursing care of breast-feeding patients.
- Consults with nursing, medical staff and other disciplines to achieve this goal.
- Teaches and demonstrates specific nursing care techniques related to the breast-feeding patient.
- Assists in the development of nursing care procedures for the breast-feeding patient.
- Effectively interacts with patient, significant others, and other health team members, while maintaining ANA standards of professional nursing practice.
