Laborer Tier 1

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and preparation of asphalt/concrete surface to secure polyurethane track material (40% of time)
• Use of small hand tools and power equipment in surface preparation and polyurethane installation (20% of time)
• Carrying, mixing, and pouring polyurethane to install track surface as required by OSHA safety standards (10% of time)
• Recovery of excess rubber granules and edge detail trimming of track surface (20% of time)
• General site cleanup and demobilization (10% of time)

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Activities:
  • Occasionally (1–33%): Jumping, climbing
  • Frequently (34–66%): Sitting (when using paver), standing, walking, stooping/bending, pushing/pulling, crawling/kneeling, reaching above shoulder, forearm rotation, climbing
  • Constantly (67–100%): Twisting/turning, repetitive hand/wrist movements
• Material Handling: Lifting to waist height up to 50 lbs, carrying up to 50 lbs (34–66% of the time)
• Hand Function: Simple grasping, gross grasping, fine manipulation
• Tools & Equipment: Forklift, hand tools (drills/grinders), and other specialized installation equipment
• Environment: Outdoor work (10 hours/day), exposure to heat, uneven surfaces

Requirements

• 2–3 years of field experience preferred but not required
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to physical demands
