About the role
Benchmark Masonry, Inc. is seeking a Mason Laborer/Operator to join our team. The position requires a valid driver's license with a clean record and experience in heavy equipment operation.
Responsibilities
- Assist Masons by performing general labor tasks including stocking materials and constructing scaffolding.
- Safeguard jobsite operations by supporting as needed.
- Operate company vehicles, snow removal equipment, and construction equipment as required.
- Participate in and collaborate with the crew during daily meetings to ensure safety, quality, and productivity goals are met.
- Shape brick, block, or stone in preparation for final setting using brick hammers and/or power saws.
- Complete tasks with pride of ownership and quality.
- Follow instructions precisely and work with others in an organized manner.
- Work in high, precarious places such as scaffolding and ladders.
- Work in outdoor weather conditions including extreme heat or cold.
- Perform snow removal operations, including operating trucks with plows, front-end loaders, or skid steers to clear commercial and residential lots safely.

Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience in construction and heavy equipment operation.
- Experience operating front-end loaders, mini-excavators, and skid steers.
- Ability to operate equipment safely in winter conditions including snow, ice, and low-visibility environments.
- Reliable and hardworking.
- Strong attention to detail with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the public.
- Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
- Clean criminal background as we work on secure state and federal facilities.
Qualifications
- OSHA training.
- Forklift certified.
- Hydro mobile scaffold certified.

Pay
The starting wage is $25/hour.
Schedule
