About the role

The primary responsibility of a GAS LABOR/DRIVER at Henkels & McCoy, Inc. (H&M) in the Lehigh Valley, PA is to operate a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) to transport materials and equipment necessary for utility construction projects. This position requires a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with an A credential.

Responsibilities

• Operate CMVs to transport materials and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload materials from CMVs according to project specifications.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure compliance with DOT standards.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, supervisors, and other team members to coordinate logistics and transportation needs.
• Ensure that all equipment and materials are properly secured during transit.
• Participate in regular safety meetings and training sessions to maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements

• Valid CDL with an A credential.
• At least 2 years of relevant driving experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Knowledge of industry-specific safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Basic computer skills.
