About the role

GARNEY CONSTRUCTION is seeking an entry-level Laborer position. This role offers an excellent opportunity to start a career in the construction industry, with competitive pay starting at $20 per hour, industry-leading benefits, and potential for overtime work.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate pneumatic and electrical tools, such as concrete vibrators, compactors, concrete saws, cut-off saws, jackhammers, and hand-operated trenchers
• Lift, carry, and hold building materials, tools, and supplies
• Mix, pour, and spread concrete, asphalt gravel, and other materials using hand tools

Requirements

• Must be able to work on their feet for an entire day
• Willing to complete OSHA 10 training provided by Garney
• Willing to complete Fall Protection Certification provided by Garney
• Willing to work overtime
• Must have access to reliable transportation
