About the role

This position is located at the Courses of Clear Creek. The role involves performing heavy physical labor, maintaining NAF facilities, and addressing potential safety hazards.

Responsibilities

• Help Perform heavy physical labor requiring the frequent lifting and carrying of items weighing 80 to 100 pounds or more.
• Performs general maintenance of NAF facilities requiring use of heavy powered equipment and heavy tools.
• Tasks may include digging ditches, cutting trees using axes and chain saws, and lawn maintenance on grades and slopes.
• Resets nails, replaces hardware, relocates playgrounds, flowerbeds, and portable structures.
• Advise facility director of potential safety hazards and identify repairs required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Conditions of employment: Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required. Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position. A one year probationary period may be required. Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check. Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
• Qualifications: Applicant must be able to frequently lift and carry very heavy objects weighing in excess of 50 pounds. Ability to work days, nights, and weekends as scheduled.

• Resumes must be two pages (or less).
• Must possess six months of laboring experience.
• Must be able to work under general supervision, responding to initial oral or written instructions and completing assigned tasks.
