About the role

Pepper Construction is a national general contracting and construction management firm with offices in Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, and Ohio, primarily serving the private sector. We combine the experience and resources of a national company with the hands-on approach of a local company.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move materials within or near the construction site from pallets, skids, trucks, or other locations.
• Transport materials to or from storage or work sites to designated areas using hand trucks, wheelbarrows, or other devices.
• Operate equipment such as bobcats and lulls.
• Perform selective demolition and concrete placement.
• Lift and carry heavy objects by hand or power hoist.
• Clean work areas, machines, or other equipment using brooms, water hoses, or blowers.
• Shovel or rake loose materials such as dirt, sand, and gravel.
• Perform flagging duties as needed.
