Laborer

About the role

The Laborer position at Belle Tire plays a key role in our tire recycling process. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment focused on safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Load scrap van trailers with commercial blowouts and OTR Scrap Cart high tread tires to air checker or used tires to dock for delivery
• Absorb used tires that were purchased for delivery to customers
• Bag and palletize rubber mulch
• De-bead and de-rim truck tires
• Remove rims on passenger tires using tire machine
• Operate tire recycling equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Perform other duties as assigned by your manager

Requirements

• Minimum age of 18
• Valid driver's license
• Attention to detail and efficiency in a fast-paced environment
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous experience working in a warehouse/distribution center preferred
• Ability to stand for long periods, bend, and lift up to 75 pounds
• Physical demands include long periods of standing, heavy lifting, and working with equipment and materials

Qualifications

• Preferred previous experience in a warehouse/distribution center

Pay

$16 / hour

Schedule

This position is based in a manufacturing/tire recycling center with varying hours Monday through Saturday and potential overtime.
