Laborer

About the role

Keller is looking for an experienced Laborer for a project based in Joseph City, Arizona. As a Laborer, you will support geotechnical construction projects by assisting skilled craft workers and equipment operators with basic field tasks. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals beginning their construction careers and offers hands-on experience in a safety-focused environment. You will receive on-the-job training and exposure to a variety of site activities and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist craft workers and equipment operators with daily construction tasks.
• Load and unload materials and tools.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the job site.
• Assemble and disassemble simple construction structures.
• Spot for equipment movement using standard hand signals.
• Follow all safety protocols and report unsafe conditions.
• Participate in Daily Safety Briefings and adhere to the Project Safety Plan.
• Exercise Stop Work Authority for safety or quality concerns.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No prior experience required; 0–1 year in construction a plus.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work extended hours in field conditions.

Preferred Certifications

• New Hire Orientation and Induction
• OSHA 10
• CPR and First Aid Certification
• Qualified Rigging (required to advance)

Pay

Salary Range: $20 - $25 per hour. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant internal and external experience, knowledge, skills, scope of job, geographical location or other factors permitted by law.
