Responsibilities

• Support form carpenters and concrete operations
• Assist ironworkers/rodbusters and masons
• Prepare areas for concrete placement
• Handle and place concrete forms
• Spread and smooth concrete
• Strip concrete forms and transport them
• Assist concrete finishers
• Handle and transport masonry materials
• Support carpentry tasks
• Load, unload, and distribute materials
• Ensure site maintenance and safety

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Driver’s License
• Safe work practices
• Initiative and attention to detail
• Effective communication and math skills
• Reliability and punctuality
• Construction layout and blueprint reading experience (preferred)
• OSHA 10 Certification (preferred)
• CPR & First Aid Certification (preferred)

Essential Duties

• Excavate and grade for concrete placement
• Assemble and place concrete forms
• Lift and handle form panels and concrete buckets
• Muck and spread concrete
• Assist in stripping concrete forms
• Transport masonry materials
• Support carpentry tasks
• Identify and distribute building materials
• Ensure site cleanliness and safety
• Communicate jobsite hazards

Physical Demands

• Heavy lifting and carrying
• Walking, kneeling, sitting, crouching, reaching, standing, and finger typing
• Operating computers and office machinery
• Communicating with co-workers and stakeholders
• Reading and understanding blueprints, load charts, and taking measurements
• Using various tools and equipment
• Working from heights and balancing
• Exposure to high and low temperatures, noisy environments, and outdoor elements
