Laborer

Responsibilities

• Assist plant personnel in various production activities.
• Clean plant and equipment.
• Use high-pressure hose to wash parking lot, plant equipment, and surrounding areas, including spilled material on lot.
• Paint and wash plant equipment and building fixtures as necessary.
• Use standard hand tools (hammer, screwdriver, wrenches, etc.) and power tools (drills, impact drivers, saws, etc.).
• Operate company vehicles around plant and property.
• Perform a variety of general labor tasks including janitorial cleaning and vehicle washing.
• Maintain safety as top priority in accordance with all company safety rules and regulations.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Able to follow oral and written directions.
• Ability to work nights and/or weekends as needed.

Education/Experience Requirements

High school diploma preferred.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands

• Frequently required to walk, stand, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, and crouch.
• Frequently must push, pull, move, or lift up to 50 lbs.
• Regularly required to reach with hands and arms.
• Job functions will be carried out in a facility which requires tolerance for high heat and/or cold temperatures.
