Laborer

About the Role

We are seeking construction laborers with experience in lagging, underpinning, grout mixing, and other support of excavation tasks. This role involves physical labor at construction sites to assist with these operations.

Responsibilities

• Hand digging and backfilling for installation of lagging or underpinning
• Mixing grout
• Tieback fabrication
• Drilling assistance
• Digging trenches
• Cleaning up debris
• Using power and air tools as necessary
• Other duties associated with support of excavation

Requirements

• 5+ years of recent confirmed deep foundation and support of excavation (SOE) experience
• Must pass a drug screening
• Ability to work in all outdoor elements (heat, rain, snow, etc.)
• Ability to climb, kneel, stoop, crouch, balance, squat, and stand for long periods of time
• Ability to work on uneven or muddy ground
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
• Must be reliable

Skills

• Safety conscious
• Experience with picks, shovels, power tools, and air tools for excavation
• Ability to take direction and work collaboratively with others
• Good hand-eye coordination
